An automatic lathe with an automatic hopper/loading system with a hydraulically powered centring collet, a machine for the production of small timber items made from square section stock. The headstock runs on linear guides/bearings and is powered by a Brushless Servo Motor.
Maximum length of the feed stock 1,000mm, with an allowance of 200 mm.
This lathe is equipped with:
- A toolholder group for pedular rough-turning (and on request, a linear rougher can also be fitted)
- A finishing toolholder group
- A tailstock for drilling and/or milling complete with rapid advance device, intermediate release, adjustable final pause, blower nozzle for any drilled parts.
- A parting toolholder assembly
Maximum length of work-pieces:
a) with hole 120mm
b) without hole 150mm
The machine will accept square section stock from a minimum of 20 x 20 mm to a maximum of 85 x 85 mm, using a cushioned steady rest. The machine can be equipped with a device for getting a minimum final off-cut waste. The minimum length of this off-cut, which varies depending on the length of turning, is 40mm.
Operation is by user-friendly programmable logic control, a self-learning system with display screen and electronic control panel for ease of setting up and the immediate faults location.
